Below you will find instructions for several possibilities of how to reach the congress site at Birnbach

We are providing a chargeable shuttle service to/from the Airport Köln/Bonn and to/from the Train Station Siegburg/Bonn.

We will NOT provide a shuttle service from any other airport, also not from the Airport Frankfurt/Main.

Since the airport Frankfurt/Main is the furthest airport we will give this information first:

 

Arrival at Airport Frankfurt/Main:

When you arrive at the airport Frankfurt/Main which is about 130 kilometers away from the congress site at Birnbach, there are 2 options of how to arrive at the congress site in Birnbach:

  1. Car Rental: This is the cheapest way! For rental of a small car you pay online around EUR 50-60 for friday until sunday, fuel not included.

The congress site is about 130 kilometers away from the airport. So, it will take you a 1,5 or 2-hours drive – depending on the traffic.

OR

  1. Train: There is a direct connection from the airport Frankfurt/Main to the station “Siegburg/Bonn”. The fastest is by Intercity Express, called “ICE”. It takes you within 40-50 minutes to the station in “Siegburg/Bonn”.

This train runs every 30-50 minutes during the day.

Please check the prices online. Usually they are far cheaper than at the desk in Frankfurt.

We saw differences in prices ranging from EUR 22,- online and EUR 60,- at the desk – depending on the time of day, when the train is departing.

This is the price for one-way, for one person.

For coming back from the Congress site in Birnbach it will cost accordingly.
When booking online, please consider that you need at least one hour between the arrival of your plane and boarding the train.

The ride will take about 35 minutes.

 

Arrival at Airport Köln/Bonn:

If you arrive at the airport Köln/Bonn, we will pick you up with a chargeable shuttle to the congress site at Birnbach. The ride will take us about 40 minutes.

 

Arrival by train:

If you decide to come by train, please choose the station Siegburg/Bonn. From there we will pick you up with a chargeable shuttle to the congress site at Birnbach.

The ride will take us about 35 minutes.
